_Helen Kelly Davis is an actress, dancer, model, artist & writer. She is also a very passionate humanitarian & conservationist.
Born on February 28th, 1987, Helen was raised in the historical Georgian city of Bath located in Somerset, England. She has spent half her life there & the other half in the beautiful city of Kelowna in British Columbia, Canada. Helen can trace her heritage back to Cuban, Jamaican, British, Swedish, Welsh, Indian, Chinese, Panamanian, Spanish & African descent. On her father's side she can trace her ancestry back to the Arawak tribe indigenous to Central America which makes her extremely diverse & suitable for majority of projects.
From a young age Helen discovered & expressed her love for the arts by performing with her siblings (Kathryn & _Howard Davis). The three Davis children participated in a wide variety of creative & artistic activities from an early age & now all have active acting careers. Helen has been modeling & dancing since the age of 6, with experience with companies such as Barbie, MAC Cosmetics & Coca Cola. She has performed for major music festivals & artists over the years.
Her acting career really took off once she moved to Vancouver in 2011. She then relocated to Toronto in 2012 to gain more experience & it was shortly after she landed the lead role of Maestro Fresh Wes's wife in his video for his comeback project. He required the role be filled by a serious actress & cast Helen due to her passion & drive. He is one of the inspirations for her pursuing the craft & since then she has landed a number of commercials & principle roles.
Helen also plays a very active role in the hip hop industry, working alongside her husband Nicholas "Lush One" Hyams helping coordinate hip hop events, live music shows & managing artists. She has over 8 years of experience with promotion & events. She has also worked in management of fashion shows & art exhibits with experience in art curation, event coordinating & promotion for companies including Construct Canada, DMC awards, King Of The Dot & Comicon.
Her ultimate goals are to become a legendary actor & entertainer. Helen wishes to use her influence for the greater good, raising awareness for underprivileged children & youth with special needs, as well as a desire to help endangered animal species & the conservation of the planet & the world's oceans. With her versatility she can take on any role given to her.
Helen hopes she will continue to bring a little "Joy" to everyone she works with. Currently residing in Los Angeles, California, Helen is actively working in Film/Television & Print. She is also SAG Eligible & able to work in the US, Canada and Europe.
